What merge, lane and drift mean

Seven terms these games use, explained in a line or two.

Merge
Combining two identical items into one stronger item. In Duck Merge, two matching ducks become a more capable duck.
Endless runner
A game in which the character runs forward on their own and the run lasts until you make a mistake. Talking Tom Gold Run is one.
Lane
One of several fixed tracks a runner can move between. Switching lanes is how you avoid an obstacle or a closed gate in Talking Tom Gold Run.
Set piece
A restart in football, such as a corner, a free kick after a foul, a throw-in or a penalty. Soccer Skills 2: World Cup includes all of these.
Drift
A controlled slide through a corner of the road. In Vortelli's Pizza Delivery you hold Shift to drift.
Pixel art
A picture made of small square cells. In Color Artist you fill the cells in with colour until the image is complete.
Grid puzzle
A puzzle played on a board of cells, where space is the main limit. In 11-11 you place numbered blocks and clear lines before the grid fills.

Covers in the cobalt panel

Who keeps the tile wall

Kaelitovakneo is a small independent site about internet games that open on Poki. Each page describes one game from what it is and how it plays, with the facts presented the same way every time. The site is not connected to Poki or to the studios behind the games.

Questions about the games and the links

Are the games free?

Yes. Play all of them for free: they are website games that open on Poki without payment. Poki shows ads around its games.

Do I need to download anything?

No. Game play online happens in the browser on poki.com; nothing is installed on your device.

Which devices do they work on?

According to Poki, all of them work on computers, phones and tablets, so they double as mobile games. Each game page lists the controls for keyboard, mouse or touch.

Where does the game link go?

To the game's page on poki.com, a separate site that this site does not run. The link opens in a new tab.
